Kareena’s Fitness Trainer Reveals How Pilates Training Helped Her Reduce Post Pregnancy Fat

In an interview with a leading tabloid, Kareena’s fitness trainer Namrata Purohit said,”Kareena came to me post-Taimur, so naturally there was fat gain during her pregnancy. So we were looking into more weight loss, it was a regime where we focused a lot on cardiovascular exercises, as well as Pilates training which helped tone the body and get the body back into shape. The body had lost a certain amount of shape, also when you are bearing a child your balance is off center. So getting the body back into balance, getting the body moving again, we had to look into those kinds of things.”

While talking further about how Kareena’s regime is far different from that of Jacqueline Fernandez’s, she said in an interview with a daily, “Somebody like Jacqueline, she is already at a decent fitness level. So we were looking at pushing her body to new limits, really getting her lean muscles, lean body mass and also getting more toned, more flexibility into her body, being more agile; because that is one of the things she wanted. To be able to move more fluently.”
