Nigerian women have always been lover s of natural hair in time past. Gone are the days of thread and natural braids. Most of these stunning hairstyles in the 60s to 90s have been documented by Nigerian photographer J.D. ‘Okhai Ojeikere. He dedicated much of his career to documenting hair styles in Nigeria after the country’s emancipation from Britain in 1960.
