5 Things You Can do When You've Exhausted Your Internet Data

Having no internet to browse sometimes feels like you have been locked out of this world!

When we have no access to internet, we often feel like something big has gone missing in our lives… we can all relate! You feel so bored you can’t even watch a drop of water fall..

Most times, it’s not like you’ve run out of internet subscription. It might just be NEPA and your battery conspiring to deal with you that day. But whichever way, you’re in for it!

The hours go by slowly. You can’t begin to fathom the level of boredom awaiting you in your “internet-less” existence. You look for every opportunity to get back online.

I feel exactly this way every time I exhaust my internet data or when my phone dies and there is no light to charge.  But don’t worry, I’ve got your back

Here are 5 things you can do when you don’t have internet on your phone;

#1.  Read Your Favourite book

Always keep several paperbacks to read when your internet is down. It keeps you entertained. It also keeps your mind off the fact that you live in 18th century Nigeria.

#2.  Go for a walk

This is the first thing I do. You never know, NEPA might just bring the light as you’re taking your walk. Or if you have the foresight to carry your charger, you might find a shop where you can lounge for a bit, charge your phone and feed your online addiction.

#3.  catch up with your friend

We all have that one friend on our street whose house is the generator hub. Their generator is always on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You better go visit said friend. If you don’t have this type of friend, you better go make one.

#4.  Play sudoku/crossword puzzles in the newspaper

Never underestimate the power of a good puzzle and cussing out whatever newspaper is about to give you a brain aneurysm with their puzzles. It keeps you so occupied that you never notice the hours fly by.

#5.  Watch a movie

If NEPA isn’t the cause of your internet problems, watch a film at home. Or at the cinemas. Either way, you’re entertained.
