After withdrawing most favored nation status and the imposing hike of 200 percent on customs duty tax from Pakistan, India has now announced a ban on Pak artistes in the nation. Recently on this Monday, the All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) announced a strict prohibition on the Pakistani artist in the country stating that they will look into it with strong action against all who collaborates with talent from Pakistan. These all are the result of the antagonistic Pulwama incident that happened in India on the 14th of February in Jammu and Kashmir.
On an undersigned notice by Ronak Suresh Jain who is the General Secretary of AICWA, which reads as, ” All Indian Cine Workers Association strongly condemns brutal incident on our soldiers at Pulwama district in Jammu and Kashmir. Our heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims. AICWA stands with the nation in confronting such a terror and inhumanity.”
“We are officially announcing a total ban on Pakistani actors and artists working in (our) film industry. The nation comes first, we stand with our nation.”
after the workers of Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) said that Indian directors or producers must not work with Pakistani artistes and also not release their films in Pakistan.
