Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter are making headlines from the shooting days of Shashank Khaitan’s Dhadak, an official Hindi remake of Marathi movie Sairaat. This will mark as Janhvi’s debut movie as Ishaan had already debuted with Majid Majidi’s Beyond The Clouds. Trailer of Dhadak has already got released and garnered mixed reviews from all over.
Under the production banner of Dharma and producer Karan Johar, the movie will release tomorrow i.e., 20 July. Yesterday, before the release, a special screening of the movie was held in Mumbai where almost all the Bollywood fraternity in attendance. After Sridevi, Janhvi got a lot more support from her family and siblings Anshula and Arjun Kapoor. From Karan Johar to Designer Manish Malhotra everyone encouraged Janhvi rather in person or through their personal social media accounts-Instagram or Twitter.

Janhvi and Ishaan promoted the movie at various platforms on television where Janhvi was always seen in sporting traditional looks while Ishaan Khatter chooses to remain in casual or formal. But the Duo looked very good together and it seems a special bond has grown between them.

Earlier, Janhvi shared a picture with her siblings telling them that they are the reason for her strength and wishing Arjun Kapoor his birthday. Here’s what she wrote, “You are the reason for our strength. Love you, happy birthday Arjun bhaiya ❤️”
Earlier Janhvi even revealed that her mom wasn’t happy with her decision of acting as a career and said, “I told my mom and she said, ‘Please reconsider your decision’. She always felt that I am too naive. Mom and dad are very protective of me. They didn’t think I was equipped to deal with the non-creative aspect of filmmaking. Mom wasn’t too happy. She felt she had worked so hard to give her children an easy life. But I didn’t want that, I wanted a fulfilling one”.
Janhvi was further asked that how did she convince her parents. To this, she replied, “It didn’t take a lot of convincing because they knew I was serious about it. They just told me that acting doesn’t mean looking pretty and reading the line.”
