7. jayi Crowther University

The university is situated in Oyo town, Oyo state and was found by the Anglican Church. It was named after late Samuel Ajayi Crowther, the first Nigerian African bishop of the Anglican Church. He was also the first Nigerian to translate the bible into Yoruba language.
