IIFA Awards 2018 has always been a grand affair. This year, the prestigious award ceremony took place in Bangkok and it was one helluva. The award functions saw a number of popular stars marking their presence all decked up in beautiful designer wears.
While the show’s host Riteish Deshmukh and Karan Johar entertained everyone their amazing camaraderie, Varun Dhawan, Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Kartik Aaryan among others too set the stage on fire with their electrifying performance.
Apart from all this, the actors and actresses were also awarded for their excellent performance in their films.
There were some emotional moments when everyone was left teary-eyed. Late actress Sridevi was awarded the Best Actor Female award posthumously for her performance in the revenge thriller Mom. Anil Kapoor presented the award to his big brother Boney Kapoor, who collected the award on her behalf and couldn’t hold back his emotions. He said, “I have mixed emotions today. I miss her every minute and second of my life. I still feel she is around here….I want you all to support Janhvi like you supported her mother…”
