Here the walls of Al-Aqsa Mosque, the floor, with Palestinian blood and here my eyes are red with tears of helplessness, the first qiblah, we are unable to pay off the debt of your sanctity: Tweet of the former captain
Israeli forces attack Al-Aqsa Mosque, Shahid Afridi erupts. Former cricketer Shahid Afridi’s reaction to the attack on Al-Aqsa Mosque by Israeli security forces also came to light. Expressing his views on the micro-blogging site Twitter, Shahid Afridi, 41, wrote: “Here the walls of Al-Aqsa Mosque are red with Palestinian blood, and here, my eyes are red with tears of helplessness.
He said that the world conscience was sleeping wrapped in a blanket of indifference, perhaps the blood of Muslims was so disrespectful that no voice would be raised and no campaign would be launched against it. The former cricketer added, “First Qibla, we are unable to pay off the debt of your sanctity.”
It should be noted that the Israeli security forces attacked the Muslim worshipers inside the first qiblah of Al-Aqsa Mosque late on Friday night. Attempts to disperse the crowd with grenades and tear gas turned the mosque into a battlefield as worshipers were prevented from worshiping, with several people injured and several reportedly martyred.
